Ponzio brings a mastery of human form, depth of emotion, and passion for the craft of bronze casting to each composition she creates. Our show at the Figure Ground in December of 2023 debuted the triptych “The Builder Series,” two pieces of which became ARC International Salon finalists. Along with bronze sculptures, Ponzio’s show featured works that combine bas-relief and high relief, and works executed in plaster and wood. Ponzio has worked extensively in plaster, creating award-winning pieces in the rich and varied material. Also produced for this show is a limited edition of 23 castings of a medallion.
