Sayen Rodriguez is an argentine sculptor, performer and makeup artist. She has been working and living in Seattle for the last nine years. Her work is mostly focused on gender identity, race, immigration and sexual diversity. She uses a variety of mediums for self expression, ranging from classical figurative sculpture to drag performance, installations and video art.

 The Elisio Series

As part of the November show, we are paying homage to a series of portraits of Elisio, a limited series of casts of the same head sculpture made out of a variety of resins and trash objects, that were lost. The November 2021 show includes a wall display, a book about the series (below), and exhibition of a surviving piece from the series.
